Yes – someone will need to be at home to take delivery. This is to make sure that your bike arrives safely and doesn't get nicked from outside your house!
Check for damage
When your bike arrives, please check the box for damage. If you notice that the box is damaged, please either refuse the delivery or register the damage with the delivery person.
If a bike is damaged in transit and that damage isn't registered, we've got no way of making a claim with the delivery company to recoup costs. And that's rubbish.
If the delivery fails...
If no one is at home when our courier tries to deliver your bike, then it will be returned to us. We will issue you with a refund, minus the costs of the delivery, the return fee and any admin fees we've been charged.
So please make sure someone's home!
